The Shirt of 100 Pockets Experience

August 23, 2022

I don’t know if this is a standalone experience or one that is part of a larger experience room. But here it is.

There is a jumpsuit with 100 pockets. Each pocket has different stuff in it. You are given a list of things to find and you have to see how fast you can find the stuff in all your pockets.

Or instead of just having to find stuff, you have to you have to get the right things in the right pockets. Each pocket is numbered 1-100 and inside each pocket is an item that is numbered 1-100. But most of the stuff is the wrong pockets. How fast can you get them in the right pockets? You can only have 3 items out of the pockets at a time.

If there would be pockets on the back, you would need someone to help you. Or, maybe two different people wear two different outfits and the pockets combined are numbered 1-200. So you might have to take something from you and put it on them and vice versa.

These people would need to know each other pretty well. Or the pockets would have to be located in places that are not too personal.

There would need to be a way to quickly verify if they got them right. Maybe the pockets are clear or have a hole you can verify the card?

Maybe it’s just 52 cards in 52 pockets, with the theme being a deck of cards. And maybe instead of just having to put the right things in the right pockets, you could actually create a card game out of it somehow. Maybe there’s more than just one or two people who play the game.

You could also play with the distances between people. Maybe at certain times you can’t move from a spot. If you can’t reach the pocket of the person you need to reach then maybe they can reach in and throw the card to you. If it lands where you can’t reach it, oh well it has to stay there until you can move again.

To make the game less likely for people to inappropriately touch, maybe everyone is in one of this sumo fat suits that you can inflate. Those can be funny. Also if you are bigger than there are more places to put pockets.

I think I have arrived at the ideal game.
