Many people love the look of a nice private library and would love to have one.
This Experience Room is just a really nice private library that you pay to hang out and read in.
This is similar to my post about presence-only environments. You could bring your own drink and food.
The rules would be no electronics, including laptops and phones. You can sit and read books. No talking. Or maybe some hours you can talk and some you can’t. And you book what you would like. Maybe you want to have a quiet solo experience. Maybe you want to have an experience with your friends hanging out in a cool library.
In fact, maybe it is part of a bigger house that you rent just to hang out in. Maybe you get an hour or two in each room, then you move on to the next room. Maybe it’s just different kinds of libraries. Or maybe it’s different kinds of sitting rooms. I know when I was at Versaille I just wanted to pull up a seat and hang out in the rooms. But you can’t. You can’t do that anywhere at any famous places. They don’t even let you stare at it for long before they shuffle the tour to the next room you can’t hang out in.
This seems like an insane idea. Maybe it is, but unless you are wealthy, this is an experience you just can’t get anywhere else. I think people would pay for it.
