The Museum of 10,000 Drawers, Some of Which Have Stuff In Them

March 11, 2022

While this seems pretty-self explanatory, there might be more to be made of it.

When I think drawer, I think more like a hinged door similar to an automat. But it could also be a drawer.

The stuff could tell a story. Artifacts, letters, etc. Maybe choosing drawers chooses your fate. Maybe some drawers won’t open until you have opened other drawers first. What if there were 10,000 keys? They you’d have to keep trying them to get to the story.

Would it be a puzzle? Or just an interesting way to tell a story. Or maybe it’s not a story at all. Maybe it’s just a lottery of moments. Some are connected and some are not.

Perhaps some of the drawers you look into the wall and see things behind the drawer. Maybe they are all like that. Perhaps some of them make sounds when opened. Or are filled with fake snakes or real snakes. Perhaps some steal some of the keys you’ve found.

Perhaps some of the drawers as you to find specific things located in other unnamed drawers and put them inside to get the key to the next one.

Perhaps the drawers are only opened if you can answer trivia questions.

Maybe the 10,000 drawers looks more like a library with 10,000 books. And perhaps the bindings of the books give clues to what’s inside.

In some ways it is a choose your own adventure. In other ways it is a series of moments loosely connected.

Next to this experience room would be another experience room called “The Experience Room of Putting This Stuff Into The Right Drawers”
